At PDF, Inc., we believe we are “building for the world.” We are helping clients from different sectors worldwide with any of their particular design and fabrication or manufacturing requirements.

Whether you need a small piece of equipment for inspection purposes, a 900-foot assembly line, or even an entire plant design or layout, there is no custom fabrication project that is too large or too small for us to handle!

Custom Metal Fabrication By PDF, Inc.

Custom metal fabrication allows you to design or customize products to meet your needs. In this procedure, manufactured metal components are fabricated according to precise requirements for delicate metal embellishments and applications. Custom metal fabrication can range from part casting to equipment and machinery building.

PDF, Inc. uses the most cutting-edge custom metal fabrication technologies that match the trends in the modern industry. Our proven quality and efficient capabilities offer a wide range of custom metal fabrication methods, including laser cutting, CNC forming, manual and robotic welding, CNC machining, and more. We optimized our procedures to decrease lead times for customers. As a result, our innovative custom metal fabrication services continue to impress customers with our efficiency, affordability, and quality output.

Types Of Fabrication Services By PDF, Inc.

The engineers here at PDF, Inc. can design easy-to-maintain, simple-to-operate technology that helps you make superior products, parts, or structural components. In addition, we provide the use of premium materials and software in our custom metal fabrication. Our Fabrication department offers 30,000 square feet of fabrication area and 10,000 square feet of indoor storage. Our capabilities include the following:

Material Handling Equipment

PDF, Inc. realizes the challenge with carts, racks, and positioners that do not precisely meet customer needs. We specialize in custom metal fabrication for material handling equipment, including food packaging and building systems. Common workplace issues, including accidents, employee injuries, and inefficient space usage, can be mitigated with specialized and custom-fabricated equipment.

Turnkey Projects & Services

PDF, Inc. manufactures and installs ready-to-use commercial equipment. We have the expertise and capabilities to construct customized equipment and machinery ranging from small to 900-foot assembly lines and entire machine layouts. We are prepared to be your one-stop-shop partner from start to end of your project!

Custom Fabricated Equipment

With more than a decade of experience, we guarantee high-quality outputs, as proven by our past custom fabrication projects. PDF, Inc. customizes stone cutting saws, hammermills, feeder belts, work platforms, access platforms, industrial drying ovens, and more!

Sheet Metal Fabrication

PDF, Inc. manufactures simple to complex sheet metal parts for the US and global industries. We provide sheet metal services, including:

Laser Cutting. Our innovative laser technology cuts desired shapes and designs into sheet metal to achieve intricate detail requirements.
Metal Forming. Sheet metal takes on a variety of forms and patterns quickly. We use stressing or bending to modify the shape of a piece of metal, even without cutting.
Sheet Rolling. We can roll and flatten bulk pieces of metal, such as a bar or pipe, to sheet metal that can be as thin as 0.0125 inches.
Metal Parts Assembly. From riveting and welding to final assembly, we can conjoin pieces of sheet metals that are cut, formed, or rolled to create more complex and durable components.
CNC Punching. We use Trumpf Tru Punch 2020 to produce custom-designed pieces at a high rate of speed with little scrap. This computer numerical control (CNC) machine has excellent capabilities and is ideal for larger production runs that require multiple parts with repetitive shapes or holes.
Metal Shearing. At PDF, Inc., we can effortlessly and effectively shear sheet metal, stainless steel, and aluminum using our Cincinnati 10′ x 1/4″ and Atlantic 10′ x 1/2″ mechanical shearing equipment.
Automatic Sawing. With Marvel 2125 Touch Tech Auto Saw, an automated way of accurately cutting different types of structural steel for fabrication, we can handle large projects with several components of varying lengths and angles. This automation can produce high-precision results at a cost-efficient price and fast turnaround time.
Robotic & Manual Yielding. PDF, Inc. can weld large and complex multi-part weldments and fixtures on large production runs and repetitive welding procedures. Thanks to our certified welders specializing in manual and robotic metal inert gas (MIG) welding. Our welding experts are ASW and CWB certified (American Welding Society and Canadian Welding Bureau, respectively). We use Motoman, Kuka, 6 Axis 4200L DR Control 2, and 6 Axis 4400 DR Control 2 equipment for robotic welding; and do manual welding types such as mig, tig, stick, and spot welding.

Job Shop Services

PDF, Inc. has its job shop services department that can manufacture tiny components for equipment sent to our fabrication department. We also offer CNC milling and turning equipment as part of our machining services, enabling us to produce guaranteed high-precision, high-tolerance, and high-quality finished products.
